ORTOFON

Our Group is called Ortofon, and the new album is called “And not quite all the time”. Our band plays rock/Pop music and also others. Our band likes also to play calm and relaxing music. We try to change every once in a while our sound. We like to try new things and to experiment.
Our band is made up of 6 members. Three boys and three girls. Mike in the guitar, Joey in the bass, Jonathan in the drums, me in the violin, Kevin in the piano and Lisa in the singing. Mike is the oldest of all of us; he is like a big brother to all of us. Lisa and Jonathan are the same age and they are twins. Kevin is the second youngest and he is great in the piano. And then it’s me, the youngest of all and all of them are like my own family.
With this album we try to have a variety of genders of music. With our lyrics we try to give them a real meaning. We talk about the problems dealing these days, love, hatred and several other things. We are glad that the people like them. In these album we are trying a new sound and now kevin is singing! we hope aour fans like the new arrangement.

assignment #2, Third Partial

My band is called Henry King, and our new album is called “They pass no criticisms”. The type of music we play is pop/rock, but we like to experiment with music so some of our songs are balads and calm ones. Most songs of the album are to dance and to have fun. The songs are to entertain, the lyrics are made by myself, and talk about love, life, betrayal, in summary is music to all people, everyone can feel identified with the lyrics so are very liked in people.

The band is form by 5 members, 3 boys and 2 girls (myself include). We are a new band so our names aren’t so known, but the music yes so there’s no problem. 2 boys play the guitar (the real names are not mention to the people so they liked to be called JB and JT), the oldest boy (we called him G)  play piano, the other girl (called B) play the drum which is very cool. I sing the songs and I write them too, so I am very important in the band too.

Tha name of the album refer to us, because with our music we don’t express disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes, so we don’t criticase, and we like to share our thoughts with our music so hope you live the cover of our new album.

The Manchi Brothers

My band is called Manchi, and it is a pretty creative and original band. As you can see its cover is very abstract and kind of technological. The band plays hard rock mixed with some electro and hard distortions of guitar, with synthetizers and a hard and speedy drum attack.
* The members of Manchi are just four. Since we are an instrumental band we don´t need a vocal. It is composed by drums, guitar, synth and bass. Uriel García is the leader and drummer (endorzed by DW), Alex Yanez is the guitarrist (endorzed by Fender), Tony Montana is the bassist (endorzed by Fender) and finally Paco Kadenaz is the synth guy (endorzed by Roland).
* The name of our album “You´re not going fast enough” is like that because of our kind of speed while playing, it is really unbelievable. Also as making fun of other musicians that aren´t that good like us, like dream theater and shit like that.
* Actually we have 2 years as a band, and we had played around the world in hard rock cafe of many cities, all the continents and many stadiums. We are in vacations for personal achieves of every member. Uriel is producing and arranging music for many famous artists and making himself rich! Tony is working in a farm. Paco is learning to play sax and wasting time playing Wii. And finally Alex is making some dirty deals with Fender. Hope you enjoy the beginning of futurist music!


URIEL GARCIA

My band is called Hop Count, and the title of our album is: on our own bottom. We play calmed music, or more like pop. There is seven members on the band, Mitch plays guitar, Leonard plays the drums, Lore the violin, Tod the bass and I sing and the other two are cheerleaders that are Mariana and Melissa. I met Mitch on the supermarket and then we became friends and he listen to me singing and liked it and intoduced me to Leonard and Tod and then I said to include Lorena. So westarted playing really silly and became good, then Mariana and Melissa wanted to try it but were shy so I told them to be the dancers and the cheerleaders so they are appearing in every video we make. They discovered us because one of the agents cars got broke near our house and we were playing and heard us and liked it. We called the CD Hop Count, because we were watching Wikipedia and we found an article named that way so we liked it, then the background picture is from Spain in a festival, the title is ON OUR OWN BOTTOM, because some were depressed and got inspired an that was the first song we record on the studio.
