Questions: 1. What does the title mean? How does the title and the contrasts within it provide symbolic summary of the film? Because slumdog it's like a person that lives in the street and only knows about the street and millionarie, well he is in a t.v. program were he becames millionarie only byanswering questions that he knew by the way he lived.
13. In the final scene, we see Salim and the choice he makes - filling the bathtub with money, etc. Why does he make this choice? By letting Latika out, the bad guy will know that Salim helped her so he was going to kill him. So Salim choosed to kind of suicide instead of being kill by that person. And the choice about the money in the bathtub I understand it like he was saying that the money they had was bad because it was money of others that they had steel and kill persons for that money so it was like bloody money or dirty money, I don't know other word for it.
14. This film weaves together nightmare and impossible dream. What do you take away as the most important message or impression from the film? That you don't need that much to study and kill your self studying, it's more like in your life as it passes, you learn a lot of things but, you just need to pay more attention to what happens to you, just like Jamal did. That is the biggest message of the movie, that you need to pay attention to what happens to you in life, because you may learn things.
